Join Our Elite Team this Summer at our wraparound childcare location in Grove.
We are looking for a passionate, hardworking, enthusiastic & reliable individual that are willing to learn, to become a valuable member of our growing team. The applicant must be confident with strong classroom/group management skills and previous childcare experience.
Suitable for a minimum of level 2 qualified playworker, nursery assistant, sports coach, over the age of 18.
Currently 10 hours available per week on a permanent contract starting in July or September.
Chosen candidates will be asked to complete a telephone interview and if successful a formal interview. A further interview may be required to successful candidates.
The successful applicant will be joining an enthusiastic group looking to grow the Elite brand & philosophy.
The successful Candidate will be required to organise and run, Breakfast Clubs and After school clubs including preparing cold/hot food and snacks each day. Further opportunities to work at holiday camps in the school holidays are available.
Essential requirements :
Level 2 qualification in sports coaching/playwork/childcare, or equivalent
A Full driving licence and own transport
Up to date DBS (can be applied for)
1 Years coaching or childcare experience
Desirable requirements :
Safeguarding children certificate
12 hour Paediatric First Aid qualification
Food handling/safety certificate Level 2
2 Years coaching experience
Skills and Knowledge Essential
Ability to enthuse and motivate a group of children and provide a safe, fun learning environment for them.
Excellent organisational skills and time keeping.
Effective monitoring, evaluation and reviewing of own sessions to develop own ability and learn from previous experience.
Passion for working with children.
Excellent inter-personal and communication skills to liaise with and build a rapport with children, parents, school staff.
