Exciting New Role Available | Operations Support Manager
We are super excited to announce we are growing and looking for a talented individual to support the continued growth of Elite Youth Sports in the upcoming months.
As Operations Support Manager, you will have the responsibility of ensuring that the area Sports Coaches are delivering top quality and effective teaching of sports to children within schools and holiday camps. You will work with the General Manager and Head Coaches to plan holiday programmes and activities for staff to deliver throughout the year in line with company policies, procedures, and structure.
You will take on part responsibility of developing and implementing marketing and sale strategies to schools, so you must be confident in your ability to build relationships and source new leads.
As line manager to the team of Sports Coaches, you will need to make sure the resources available to you are used effectively and your team are led well, inspired, and have the tools they need to deliver outstanding sessions. To assist the General Manager with strategically analysing and organising the delivery timetable, so logistical operations are most efficient and cost effective. You will be responsible for covering coach absences, planning, and scheduling holiday camp cover and sometimes that may mean teaching where required until suitable cover can be sourced.
You must have a passion for coaching, physical activity, and healthy lifestyles. You must also be able to take personal ownership for the delivery of the school sessions and to effectively manage your own time.
As Operational Support there is a strong requirement for you to be motivated, enthusiastic, proactive and a role model to set examples to other influential company staff.
Being a company that works with children part of your role requires your commitment to becoming a Designated Safeguarding Lead within the business. Safeguarding children in our care is an essential part of our operation and knowledge of safeguarding is crucial to your success as a line manager.
This is an office-based role with traveling across Oxfordshire involved. Weekly school and coach visits are a must. Although the role is Oxfordshire based, from time to time there maybe requirements to travel further afield. Access to a private vehicle is essential.
Hours are currently part time at 30 hours per week, but with the potential to go full time in the new year based on the efforts to company growth in the upcoming months.
